Motorola AURA | Motorola Latest Mobile Aura Specifications, Pictures

Motorola has broken new ground in the mobile phone fashion stakes with its latest handset - the uniquely designed AURA. While the phones' specs - which include a 2MP camera, H.264 video capture, 2GB on board memory, hands-free Bluetooth connectivity and an open source browser - don't exactly set it apart from the pack, the craftsmanship, classic styling and high-end materials that have been utilized to create it certainly do. The immediately recognizable highlight is the circular liquid-crystal display, an industry first innovation inspired by luxury watch design that incorporates 16 million colors and 300 dpi resolution protected by a highly scratch-resistant 62-carat sapphire crystal lens. We're not sure how practical this would be in terms of usability, but it certainly oozes elegance.

A great deal of engineering has gone into making sure you can open the phone - its drive-assisted rotating blade mechanism, relies on a 200 piece Swiss-made main bearing and Rockwell 50-55 hardened steel gears (which use the same tungsten carbide coating as high-performance racing engines) to deliver seamless access to the keypad.

Overall, the AURA consist of 700+ individual components including up-scaled, nickel-chrome-plated exposed screws and individually manufactured aluminum keys. The mirror finish is achieved with a hand-crafted, PVD coated, stainless steel housing takes nearly two weeks to sculpt, etch and polish.

The Latest Motorola ZN5 Mobile Phon

The Latest Motorola ZN5 Mobile Phone, blower rocks a 5MP snapper, complete with xenon flash and autofocus. About time, too: the company's been surprisingly late to the megoplxel power porty. only recently rolling out the Z1 0 with a 3.2MP comera. Perhaps sensibly, Moto has drafted in Kodak to help with the imaging technology and online photo shoring. In design terms, the ZN5 is way behind Motorola's neor-iconic RAZR - dra,b, clunky and nondescript However, its interface is intuitive, and although the pimply keypad looks a little dull, the mechanised pad is pretty sweet under the thumb.

Name: The Latest Motorola ZN5 Mobile Phone.jpg Views: 1029 Size: 49.7 KB

After the searing H5DPA download speeds of the Z1 0, Moto has bizarrely regressed to the for inferior EDGE for the ZN5. Nevertheless. its hide is saved by built-in Wi-Fi, so web browsing is blistering if you're in a hotspot. and uploading snaps to Kodak's online gallery won't take forever. As a cameraphone , the ZN5 con't really be faulted, even though it doesn't come with all the tricks flaunted by its rivals in this test Image quality is pretty good, but unfortunately, overall the ZN5 is symptomatic of Motorola's recent track record -a mixed bag of missed opportunities and lack of attention to detail.

Major Glitches Of Apple iPhone 3GS

“Entrancing model”; this is the general whim on Apple iPhoneApple iPhone 3G S 3G S. Is it really as revolutionary as its older bro Apple iPhone 3G? There are some disappointments about the Apple iPhone 3G S which were overwhelmed in the array of praises for its acceleration and enhancements! With a faster 600MHz processor, improved iPhone 3.0 OS and a better camera the latest iPhone 3G S has a handful of novelties to its credit.

In the United Kingdom, O2 has not given the existing iPhone customers the privilege to update their iPhone3G with the latest iPhone3GS for additional costs. If you are an existing iPhone user, and craves for an upgrade to iPhone 3G S, then you have to wait till your existing O2 contract (for iPhone 3G) gets over. In this scenario, it is worth to scrutinise if Apple iPhone 3G S is really worth the pain you take!!!

Apple iPhone 3G SApple iPhone 3G is much known for its svelte design. However retaining the very same design for Apple iPhone 3GS has created a wave of disappointment among the users. Apple iPhone 3GS is one among the much hyped releases in 2009. It was a common buzz that Apple is planning to glue a 5MP camera into the latest iPhone. In reality, Apple has chosen only a 3MP camera for their latest phone! This dashed the hopes of many iPhone fans, as 3MP is something quite shabby compared to the high-end mobile phones with a shimmering 12MP cams!!!

Apple blanked out about the Adobe Flash support in the latest release as well. The lack of USB connector is a big miss in Apple iPhone 3G S. The users have to spare extra bucks for buying separate cables to suit the proprietary USB connector in 3G S. Yet another glitch in Apple iPhone 3G S that dampens the fans’ excitement is the absence of user-replaceable batteries. Although Apple has boosted its battery life considerably, the user has no other option than to ditch the favourite iPhone once it runs out of juice!

Apple iPhone 3G S is believed to be one of the best smart phones of 2009. An exciting modification in the latest 3G S is the inclusion of video recording. Still the lack of front-facing camera makes this handset incapable of video conferencing. It is not possible to send videos across a Wi-Fi network or cellular network using Apple iPhone 3G S in real time! Most of the phones, right from the low-end models houses FM transmitter. It is a shame that Apple has not included an iPhone FM transmitter to their latest device!

Most of the iPhone killers offer exceedingly high screen resolutions. HD dMApple iPhone 3G Sobile phones with isplay resolution are released recently. It seems Apple has overlooked this trend; the latest Apple iPhone 3G S comes with the very same 480 x 320 pixels resolution which is exactly like that of the predecessors in 2007 and 2008. The rumour that the latest Apple iPhone arrives with an HD support is also ruled out with its release. Let us hope that this rumour will resurrect during the next iPhone hypes!!!

Apple iPhone 3G S is a much-publicized phone. Although it offers a set of goodies like improved OS, a better speed, video recording, etc. Apple iPhone 3G S has not matched the expectations of the iPhone fans. With other leading brands spawning iPhone killers with rattling features, Apple has to come up with better versions to ward off the downfall!

iPhone variants on the way?

With the offical US launch of Apple's iPhone now just days away, the rumour mill has begun grinding out news that variants on the device are also on the horizon.

The source of these unconfirmed rumours? American Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu, who has been quoted as saying: "Apple needs to round out its iPhone product line at lower price points, if it expects to replicate the success of its iPod with sales of 100 million units."

Wu also claims that his sources have told him "lower cost iPhone prototypes [are due] for release at unspecified future dates".

Wu has a fairly good track record for predicting Apple's movements. In June last year he successfully predicted that the iPhone's development would be delayed by FCC approval. Then, in the following month, Wu predicted that Apple would revise the look of the iPod Nano, which he got partially correct.

Apple iPhone
iPhone: smaller, cheaper ones coming. You'd never guess...

The latest speculation certainly rings true with Apple's existing market strategy. It followed up the iPod with the iPod Mini and later the Shuffle and the iPod in a drive to attract customers looking for a lower price device.

It's inconceivable Apple wouldn't do the same with the iPhone - eventually. What matters is when, and here Wu has no specifics.

Earlier this week Apple upped the iPhone's forecast battery talk time to eight hours and said it will now sell the device with a glass front, seemingly in an attempt to overcome the scratches commonplace with the early iPod Nano.

It is also thought that Apple is secretly working on a GPS unit, but Wu is yet to comment on this…

A whiff of the modern cell phone

The cellphone has become one of the most widely used digital technologies in everyday life. However, current cellular innovations appear to be both exciting and potentially dangerous at the same time.

New cellular features (and what one can actually do with a modern cell phone) are taking the lead in incorporating the latest and greatest technical innovations. Interestingly, although they incorporate the latest in digital technologies, evidence shows that cell phones are becoming increasingly popular in countries such as South Africa as opposed to those who one might refer to as the 'digital elite'.

The most striking (and perhaps most frightening) ideas are to create cell phones that come closer to human nature than we might like to believe. A recently published article revealed that Samsung is planning to create cell phones that have 'artificial chromosomes' built in them, and will be able to 'think', 'feel', 'evolve' and even 'reproduce'. The concept seems close to the earlier invention of the Tamagotchi - a digital creature that adjusts its 'life' according to the personality and actions of its owner.

Other companies express ideas about customising phones for MySpace, which will effectively allow you to 'carry your social life in your pocket'. If this materialises I'm certain it won't take long to get hold of a phone customised for other social networking sites such as Facebook - which is already possible to a certain extent with current cellular technology.

The notion that we are living in a visual culture is becoming more apparent by the development of such technologies. Perhaps the most exciting cell phone feature that manufactures are focusing on at the moment is video. Several companies are talking about making it possible for millions of people to simultaneously stream live video and TV channels via their cell phones. Music fans may receive the most recent music videos by their favourite bands instantaneously - a concept being coined as ultrareality.

As exciting as these developments sound the luddites (technology pessimists) will tell us that this is not all cream and cake. And no, these are not all hippies that protest against technology, but clued-up intellectuals who know what they are talking about. An article published in the Washington Times describes how digital experts in the Middle East are making use of cell phones to trigger off bombs!

The pace that such developments in digital technologies are taking do have the danger of blinding one to their negative possibilities. However, the idea of getting a whiff of your significant others scent through your phone every time he or she calls is both crazy and exciting.

Cell Phones More Dangerous Than Cigarettes

Thank God for cell phones. Now, I don't have to be afraid of breaking down along the most rural, deserted stretches of the Pennsylvania Turnpike with no one to turn to for help besides the red-eyed, wild-haired, six-fingered truck driver who pulled over to offer me a ride. I don't have to worry that one of my daughters might break her nose on the playground and the hospital won't be able to reach me to give consent for the immediately necessary reconstructive surgery that would prevent her from looking like Karl Malden for the rest of her life.

Most importantly, I no longer fear long, boring car rides with no one to gab to.

Now, a British cancer expert is trying to rain on my parade . . .

Cell Phones Are Dirty! Ew!

OMG! Cell phones, you know, those things we give our kids to play with whenever they demand them (at least in my house...my three-year-old routinely dials up all sorts of people and then holds imaginary conversations with them)? They're...dirty! Ew! Yep, completely germ-ridden!

Apparently wiping it off on the leg of my jeans isn't doing much to disinfect my phone. (What?? Doesn't everyone do that?)

But yeah, apparently your phone may be rife with Candida albicans, or maybe the bacteria that causes...acne. So, ew. Wipe it down a bit before you give it to your baby to suck on. And maybe after, too. Whatever.

Mom blackmails daughters ex with nude photos

The punchline? Her daughter, and the ex-boyfriend, are 13 years old.

This is all in "alleged" territory right now, but the basics are wacky: Police in Elgin, Illinois "are investigating whether a local woman used nude photos of her daughter's 13-year-old ex-boyfriend as blackmail to get the two back together." The mother and daughter live in Sleepy Hollow, Illinois. The Headless Horseman has not been charged.

The French Say: Hey Baby, Get Off the Phone

Oh the French, why oh why do they have such distain for technology. The French not only banned television for kids under the age of three but now they have the audacity to take away their cell phones! I jest, have you heard a three year old on the phone? It’s a mash up of gibberish and pregnant pauses. Now that’s just a waste of your minutes. But really, on a more serious note, the concern on cell phone use and kids is not unfounded.

Researchers in Sweden discovered that...
