Europeans and Asians get all the cool cell phones, except for iPhone. That's because in the U.S., the carriers control what handsets you'll get, except for iPhone. The latest tease is the LG Viewty, a cell phone with a 5 MP camera capable of shooting shots up to ISO 800 and includes a Schneider-Kreuznach lens with a manual focus ring, a Xenon flash, along with 120 frame-per-second video recorder, DiVX compatibility, a bright 3-inch touch screen with haptics (tactile feedback for on-screen buttons) and handwriting recognition.
Viewty has been available in the aforementioned international regions since late last year, but U.S. networks aren't up to transmitting or receiving the picture of video files that the phone can generate. #$%#^@&!
